This next years 2010 Tattoo will mark the Diamond Jubilee year of the Military Festival.

The Military Tattoo runs from the 6 to the 28 August, shows are Monday to Friday at 9pm and the Saturday performance starts at 7.30pm and another performance at 10.30pm.

Beltane Fire Festival

30 April - The Beltane Fire Festival is held every year during the night of 30th April on Calton Hill in Edinburgh.

An audience of around 12 thousand people come to share the spectacular procession.Celebrate the start of the summer at The Beltane Fire Festival: a unique and wild procession of fire, drumming and revelry on Calton Hill. this spectacular revival of the ancient Celtic fertility festival in the heart of the Scottish capital.

The Beltane Fire Festival will take place on Calton Hill during the night of Friday 30th April 2010.Samhuinn 31st October
The Samhuinn Festival serves the seasonally opposite role to Beltane.

It was the Celtic New Year, although its practice far precedes the Celtic culture.A must to see this very colourful procession, excellent atmosphere!
